WHO WE ARE
We are a non-profit organisation that puts creativity to work for culture, education and communities. We build our own projects and collaborate with people and organisations who believe in change.
THE SUSȚIN STORY
Susțin began from the wish to put creativity and management experience at the service of other NGOs. We built campaigns, fundraising mechanisms and projects that helped their causes reach more people.
Working closely with those causes, we also saw opportunities we wanted to take on from beginning to end. That is how we started developing our own projects: with the freedom to test ideas, to give them time to grow, and with responsibility for what they leave behind.
Today that energy shows in a cinema brought back into the life of the city, in free stories, in meetings with children and in a community of volunteers. We continue to work alongside other organisations, and creative experience remains one of the resources we build with.
We want to change the world by making more good things possible. Project by project, we create places, experiences and relationships that help people trust more in what they can do together.

THE PEOPLE OF SUSȚIN
The founders of Susțin bring a mix of experience that fits together: advertising, film, NGO work and CSR. Each has built projects with impact in their own field, and together we put that expertise at the service of communities. Alongside them work specialists, coordinators and volunteers.

An artistic and perhaps misunderstood soul, always calm and hard to unsettle. Whatever challenge comes his way seems to find its solution, one way or another. In the end, only death is certain.

THE COMMUNITY BEHIND THE PROJECTS
Around 200 volunteers are part of the Susțin community, of whom roughly 100 are involved at Cinema Europa. Every contribution counts, from the first shifts to taking on projects and responsibilities.
